The INA300AQDGSRQ1 is a high common-mode, current-sense comparator that measures overvoltage by measuring the voltage developed across a current-sense or shunt resistor. This device measures this differential voltage signal over a common mode voltage range of 0V to 36V, independent of the supply voltage. The INA300-Q1 device has an adjustable threshold range that is set by a single external limit setting resistor. An optional hysteresis function adjusts the operation of the comparator to accommodate a wide input signal range of 0mV to 250mV.

The open-drain alarm output on the device can be configured in either transparent mode (output state remains the same as the input state) or latching mode (clears the alarm output when clearing the latch). The device response time setting is selectable, and an overcurrent alarm can be issued quickly within 10µs.

The INA300AQDGSRQ1 devices operate from a single 2.7V-5.5V supply with a maximum supply current consumption of 135µA. The INA300-Q1 devices are rated over the -40°C to +125°C operating temperature range and are available in a VSSOP-10 package.
