The LMR16006YQ3DDCRQ1 is a pulse width modulated (PWM) DC-DC buck regulator. The device is widely used for power conditioning of unregulated power supplies in applications ranging from industrial to automotive. The regulator has a standby current of 28μA in ECO mode, making it ideal for battery powered systems. An ultra-low shutdown current of 1μA further extends battery life. A fixed operating frequency of 2.1MHz allows the device to maintain a low output ripple voltage while using small external components. Soft-start and compensation circuits are implemented internally to minimise the number of external components used with the device. Optimised to deliver up to 600mA of load current with a typical feedback voltage of 0.765V, the device has built-in protection features such as pulse-by-pulse current limit protection, thermal sensing for excessive power consumption and thermal shutdown protection. The LMR16006YQ3DDCRQ1 is available in a thin, small-form-factor transistor (SOT)-6L package (2.9mm x 1.6mm).
