The AD7989-5BCPZ is an 18-bit successive-approximation analogue-to-digital converter (ADC) powered by a single VDD power supply.The AD7989-5BCPZ contains a low-power, high-speed, 18-bit analogue-to-digital converter.The AD7989-5BCPZ contains a low-power, high-speed, 18-bit sampling ADC and a multi-function serial interface port. The AD7989-5BCPZ samples the voltage difference between the IN+ and IN- pins on the rising edge of CNV. The voltages on these pins typically swing inversely between 0 V and VREF. The reference voltage, VREF, swings between 0 V and VREF. The reference voltage, VREF, is externally applied and can be set independently. vdd, whose power is linearly proportional to throughput. the AD7989-1/AD7989-5 are Serial Peripheral Interface (SPI) compatible. The AD7989-5BCPZ is available in 10-pin MSOP or 10-pin LFCSP packages and can operate over the -40°C to +85°C temperature range with 1.8 V, 2.5 V, 3 V, and 5 V logic voltages.
