The AD7960BCPZ is an 18-bit, 5 MSPS, charge redistribution successive approximation (SAR) analogue-to-digital converter (ADC).The SAR architecture provides unrivalled noise performance and linearity.The AD7960 integrates a low-power, high-speed 18-bit sampling ADC, an internal conversion clock, and an internal reference voltage source buffer. At the CNV± edge, the AD7960 samples the voltage difference between the IN+ and IN- pins. The voltage swing on these two pins is between 0 V and 4.096 V/5 V in opposite phase. The reference voltage is applied externally to the device. All conversion results are available through an LVDS self-clocking serial interface.

The AD7960BCPZ is available in a 32-pin LFCSP (QFN) package and operates over the -40°C to +85°C temperature range.
