The AD7988-5BCPZ are 16-bit successive-approximation analogue-to-digital converters (ADCs), analogue-to-digital converters (ADCs), powered by a single VDD supply.With a throughput of 100 kSPS, the AD7988-5BCPZ are low-power, 16-bit-sampling ADCs with a versatile serial interface port. They sample the analogue inputs on the rising edge of CNV, between IN+. The reference voltage, REF, is externally applied and can be set independently of the supply voltage, VDD. The SPI-compatible serial interface also provides the ability to connect multiple ADCs in series on a single three-wire bus via SDI inputs.It is compatible with 1.8 V, 2.5 V, 3 V, or 5 V logic voltages, and uses a separate power supply, VIO.The AD7988-5BCPZ has a 10-lead and operates over the temperature range -40°C to +125°C.
