The AD7689ACPZRL7 is an 8-channel, 16-bit, charge redistribution successive approximation register (SAR) analogue-to-digital converter (ADC). Redistributed successive approximation register (SAR) analogue-to-digital converter (ADC) operating from a single supply VDD The AD7689ACPZRL7 contains all the components for multi-channel, low-power data acquisition. All components used in a multichannel, low-power data acquisition system, including a true 16-bit SAR ADC with no missing codes; an 8-channel low crosstalk multiplexer for configuring inputs as single-ended (with or without ground sense) differential or bipolar inputs; an internal low-drift reference (optional 2.5) an internal low-drift reference (optional 2.5 V or 4.096 V) and buffer; and a temperature sensor; an optional unipolar filter; and a sequencer.The AD7689ACPZRL7 uses a simple serial port interface (SPI) for writing to configuration registers and receiving conversion results.The SPI interface uses a separate power supply VIO, which is set to the host logic level.
