The AD7767BRUZ-2 are high performance 24-bit oversampling SAR ADCs (analogue-to-digital converters). The device features wide dynamic range and input bandwidth with power consumption of only 15 mW, 10.5 mW and 8.5 mW, respectively, in a 16-pin TSSOP package.
The AD7767BRUZ-2 is suitable for ultra-low-power data acquisition applications such as PCI and USB-based systems. With 24-bit resolution, excellent signal-to-noise ratio (SNR), wide dynamic range, and high DC accuracy, these devices are ideally suited for applications that measure small-signal variations over a wide dynamic range. In such applications, these devices are capable of accurately acquiring both AC and DC information.
The AD7767BRUZ-2's on-chip integrated digital filters (including linear phase response) eliminate out-of-band noise by oversampling the inputs. This oversampling architecture also reduces the need for front-end anti-alias filtering.The AD7767 also features a SYNC/PD (Sync/Power-Down) pin that can be used for synchronisation between multiple AD7767 devices. In addition, the SDI pin enables daisy-chaining of multiple AD7767 devices.
The AD7767BRUZ-2 operates from a 2.5 V supply based on a 5 V reference voltage over the -40°C to +105°C temperature range.
