Overview:

The TMP119AIYBGR is a high-precision digital temperature sensor. This device is designed to meet the accuracy requirements for medical electronic thermometers specified in ASTM E1112 and ISO 80601. The TMP119AIYBGR provides 16-bit temperature readings with a resolution of 0.0078°C and achieves accuracy up to ±0.08°C over the 0°C to 45°C operating range without requiring calibration.

The TMP119AIYBGR features an interface compatible with both I²C and SMBus™, incorporates programmable alarm functionality, supports up to four devices on a single bus, and includes an integrated EEPROM for device programming alongside an additional 48 bits of memory for general-purpose applications. The TMP119 operates within a supply voltage range of 1.7V to 5.5V, typically consuming 3.5µA during a 1Hz conversion cycle.
