The 9SQ445NDGI is a single-chip, PCIe Gen6 clock frequency synthesizer that provides a subset of the output of the 9SQ440. It can be used as a complete clock solution or in combination with a DB2000Q-compatible clock buffer to provide point-to-point clocks for multiple receiving agents. The 9SQ445NDGI is part of the next-generation clock generator series and supports the latest dual-socket and multi-socket Intel server platforms.

The 9SQ445NDGI has the following main features:

Phase jitter of PCIe Gen6 < 40fs rms

3.3V working voltage

Three 100MHz dedicated output pairs with separate OE# pins

Two MXCLK output pairs can be multiplexed between 100MHz and 25MHz

A 25MHz dedicated output pair

The 85ω differential low-power HCSL (LP-HCSL) output eliminates 24 resistors and saves 39mm ² of area

Three optional SMBus addresses

Supports spread spectrum amounts of 0%, -0.3% and -0.5%

The sideband interface allows for real-time hardware control of all output enables
