The VND5E025AKTR-E is a dual high-voltage side driver manufactured using ST's proprietary VIPower M0-5 technology in a miniature PowerSSO-24 package.The VND5E025AKTR-E is designed to drive 12 V automotive ground loads, providing protection, diagnostics, and compatibility with any microcontroller with 3 V and 5 V CMOS. interface with any microcontroller.

The device incorporates advanced protection features such as load current limiting, active management of inrush and overload through power limiting, over-temperature shutdown with auto-restart, and active clamping of overvoltage. Each output channel has a dedicated analogue current sense pin to provide enhanced diagnostic features including fast detection of overloads and ground shorts via power limit indication, overheat indication, VCC short circuit diagnostics, and on-state and off-state open load detection. Current detection and diagnostic feedback for the entire device can be disabled by pulling the CS_DIS pin high to share external detection resistors with other similar devices.
