The VN7010AJTR device is a single-channel high voltage side driver, manufactured using ST's proprietary VIPower® M0-7 technology in the PowerSSO-16 package. The device is designed to drive 12 V automotive grounded loads over 3 V and 5 V CMOS compatible interfaces and provides protection and diagnostic functions.

The device incorporates advanced protection features such as load current limiting, active management of overloads through power limiting, and overtemperature shutdown (configurable latching).

The FaultRST pin can unlock the output or disable the latching function in the event of a fault.

Dedicated multi-function multiplexed analogue output pins provide sophisticated diagnostics, including high-precision proportional load current sensing, supply voltage feedback and chip temperature sensing, as well as overload and short-to-ground, short-to-VCC, and off-state open load detection.

The sense enable pin allows the off-state diagnostics to be disabled in the module's low-power mode and external sense resistors to be shared between similar devices.
