Product Description

The ICE5AR0680BZS is Infineon 's latest generation of fixed-frequency CoolSET™ products with high performance and integrated 800V CoolMOS™ super junction MOSFET P7 functionality ‌. This product adopts DIP-7 packaging, complies with the JEDEC standard, has a maximum switching frequency of 100kHz, is suitable for DCM design with universal wide-range input (85-300VAC), and has a power output of up to 39W. It has overvoltage protection, common source and common gate configuration, enables fast and stable startup, and supports three levels of optional entry/exit active burst mode profile ‌.


The ICE5AR0680BZS has the following main features:

Maximum switching frequency of 100kHz, equipped with an 800V integrated MOSFET

It adopts a universal wide-range input (85~300VAC) DCM design, with a power output as high as 39W

Overvoltage protection and common source and common grid configuration enable rapid and stable start-up

Optional 3-level entry/exit active burst mode configuration file (optional)

Built-in digital soft start

Period-by-cycle peak current limit

Support DCM and CCM operation with slope compensation

Integrated error amplifier, supporting direct feedback through non-isolated flyback topology

When the load decreases, the digital frequency drops and the efficiency is higher

Short-circuit protection for VCC and pins to ground

OLP, output short circuit, OTP has hysteresis and VCC overvoltage/undervoltage protection

Automatic restart function after all protections take effect
