Product Description

The SI5351B-B02073-GMR is an I2C-configurable clock generator that is particularly well suited for replacing crystals, crystal oscillators, voltage-controlled crystal oscillators (VCXOs), phase-locked loops (PLLs), and fan-out buffers in cost-sensitive applications.


Based on a PLL/VCXO + high-resolution MultiSynth divider architecture, the SI5351B-B02073-GMR can generate arbitrary frequencies up to 200 MHz on each output with an error of 0 ppm.


The SI5351B-B02073-GMR incorporates an internal VCXO, enabling flexible replacement of free-running clocks and synchronised clocks. It eliminates the need for high-cost custom tunable crystals while providing reliable operation over a wide tuning range.


SI5351B-B02073-GMR Features and Specifications

I2C Programmable: User-defined configuration via the I2C interface allows flexible setting of frequency and output parameters.

High-Precision Frequency Synthesis: Precise frequency synthesis is achievable on each output with an error of 0 ppm.

Low Jitter: Output period jitter is less than 70 ps pp.typ, suitable for applications requiring high clock accuracy.

Multiple Input Options: Supports external crystal (XTAL), control voltage input (VC), or clock input (CLKIN), depending on the device version (A/B/C).

Spread Spectrum Functionality: Configurable spread spectrum functionality helps reduce electromagnetic interference (EMI).

Static phase offset support: Supports static phase offset, suitable for applications requiring precise clock alignment.

High-linearity VCXO: Integrated high-linearity VCXO eliminates the need for an external adjustable crystal, reducing system cost.
