The TPS92518HVQPWPRQ1 device is a dual-channel step-down LED current controller with an SPI communication interface. The serial communication interface provides a single communication path for multi-channel and platform Lighting Driver Module (LDM) applications.The TPS92518HVQPWPRQ1 uses a quasi-hysteresis control methodology with a range of supported switching frequencies including a control method that supports switching frequencies from 1 kHz to 2 MHz. This control method enables excellent high-frequency parallel FET dimming and can also handle adaptive LED matrix-based headlight systems. Software-programmable SPI setpoints (precision peak current, controlled off-time, and output voltage detection) enable designers to develop a single LED driver solution for multiple load configurations that can be quickly reconfigured to meet the requirements of future LED driver designs.The TPS92518HVQPWPRQ1 is a high-voltage option with an input range of up to 65 V.
