The MAX20043FGEEB provides high ESD and short-circuit protection for low-voltage internal USB data and USB power lines in automotive radio, navigation, connectivity, and USB hub applications.

The MAX20043FGEEB provides high ESD protection of ±15kV air-gap discharges and ±8kV contact discharges at the protected HVBUS, HVD+, and HVD- outputs.

The MAX20043FGEEB features a low on-resistance (RON), 90mΩ (maximum) USB power switch and two low on-resistance (RON), 4Ω (typical) USB 2.0 data switches. The devices also feature an enable input, a fault output with a 10ms fault recovery time, a 1ms overcurrent fade time, and an integrated overcurrent auto-retry function.
