The LTC6563IUDDM is a low-noise, four-channel transimpedance amplifier (TIA) with a 600MHz bandwidth.The LTC6563IUDDM TIA features low noise, a wide linear range, and low power consumption, making it ideally suited for LIDAR receivers utilizing avalanche photodiodes (APDs) and photodiodes (PDs). The amplifier has a selectable 22.2/16.7/11.1/5.55kΩ transimpedance gain (RT) and a 90μ linear input current range. It utilizes an APD with 0.5pF total input capacitance and has input current noise densities of 1.8pA/√Hz (at 100MHz) and 3.7pA/√Hz (at 600MHz). Depending on the output mode, the LTC6563IUDDM is powered from a 3.3V supply and consumes between 194mW and 325mW. An internal 4:1 MUX simplifies system design. In addition, the external multiplexing capability supports channel expansion of up to 64 channels, saving space and power consumption.The LTC6563IUDDM features fast overload recovery and fast channel switching, making it ideally suited for LIDAR receivers that integrate multiple APDs. The built-in high-speed differential ADC driver has a swing of up to 2VP-P when driving a 100Ω external differential load.
The LTC6563IUDDM is available in a 3mm × 5mm 24-pin exposed-pad QFN package with wettable flanks.
