Overview: 

The HMC424ALH5 is a wideband 6-bit GaAs MMIC digital attenuator in a hermetically sealed SMT pinless package. It operates over the frequency range DC to 13 GHz with insertion loss below 3.5 dB typical. The attenuator bit value is 0.5 (LSB) for a total attenuation of 31.5 dB. The attenuation accuracy is very high with a typical step error of ±0.5 dB and an IIP3 of +34 dBm. Six control voltage inputs, switchable between 0 and -5 V, are used to select each attenuation state.
