exas Instruments F280025PNQRC2000 32-bit microcontrollers (MCUs) are part of the C2000™ real-time microcontroller family of scalable, ultra-low latency devices. These devices are designed to improve the efficiency of electric electronics including, but not limited to, high power density, high switching frequency, and support for the use of GaN and SiC technologies. The real-time control subsystem is based on the Texas Instruments 32-bit C28x DSP core, which provides 100MHz signal processing performance for floating-point or fixed-point code running through on-chip flash memory or SRAM.The C28x CPU is boosted by the Triangulation Math Unit (TMU) and the Vertical Cyclic Redundancy Checking (VCRC) extended instruction set to speed up general purpose algorithms critical to real-time control systems. general-purpose algorithms that are critical to real-time control systems.

The F280025PNQR microcontroller (MCU) integrates a high-performance analogue module that is tightly coupled to the processing and PWM units to provide optimal real-time signal chain performance. 14 PWM channels, all supporting frequency-independent resolution modes, control a variety of power stages, from three-phase inverters to advanced multistage power topologies. The inclusion of Configurable Logic Blocks (CLBs) allows users to add custom logic, potentially integrating FPGA-like functionality into the C2000 real-time MCU.
