The INA219BIDR is a shunt and power monitoring meter with an I2C or SMBUS compatible interface. The device monitors the shunt voltage drop and bus supply voltage with programmable conversion times and filtering options. Programmable calibration values combined with an internal multiplier support direct reading of current values in amperes. Power (in watts) can be calculated with additional multiplication registers. 16 programmable addresses are available for the I2C or SMBUS compatible interface.

The INA219BIDR is available in two classes: Class A and Class B. The Class B model offers higher accuracy and tighter precision specifications.

The INA219BIDR senses the partial voltage in the bus over a range of 0V to 26V. The device is powered from a single 3V to 5.5V supply with a maximum current draw of 1mA. The INA219BIDR has an operating temperature range of -40°C to 125°C. The INA219BIDR is available in two classes, Class A and Class B. The Class B model offers accuracy and tight specification.
