The ADGS5414BCPZ device contains eight independent single-pole single-throw (SPST) switches. The SPI interface controls these switches and has powerful error detection capabilities, including cyclic redundancy check (CRC) error detection, invalid read/write address error detection, and SCLK count error detection.

Multiple ADGS5414BCPZ devices can be Daisy chained together. This makes it possible to configure multiple devices with minimal digital wiring. The ADGS5414BCPZ also works in burst mode, reducing the time between SPI commands.
