The LTC5556IUH is a dual programmable gain down-conversion mixer for diversity and MIMO receivers that require precision gain Settings. Each channel contains an active mixer and a digital IF VGA with a gain control range of 15.5dB. The IF gain range for each channel can be programmed by SPI in steps of 0.5dB.

The LTC5556IUH has the same functionality as the LTC5566, but the mixer is optimized for the higher 3GHz to 7GHz RF frequency range, and the IF is optimized for use frequencies up to 900MHz. Mixers can be used at frequencies as low as 1.5GHz or as high as 8GHz (where performance degrades).
