The AD5686BCPZ, part of the nanoDAC+™ family, is a low-power, four-channel, 16-bit buffered voltage output DAC. The device has a built-in gain selection pin with a full scale output of 0V to VREF (gain = 1) or 0V to 2VREFF (gain = 2). Powered by a single supply from 2.7V to 5.5V, it is designed to ensure monotonicity and has a gain error of less than 0.1% FSR and an offset error of 1.5mV.

The AD5686BCPZ also has a power-on reset circuit and an RSTSEL pin that ensures the DAC output is powered to zero or mid-range until a valid write operation is performed. In addition, all devices have channel-independent powerdown characteristics, and in powerdown mode, the device power consumption is reduced to 4 µA at 3 V.
