The LSM6DSV16XTR is a high-performance, low-power six-axis compact IMU featuring a three-axis digital accelerometer and a three-axis digital gyroscope, providing optimal IMU sensors in a three-channel architecture that processes acceleration and angular rate data on three independent channels (UI, OIS, and EIS) with dedicated configuration, processing, and filtering capabilities.

The LSM6DSV16XTR utilises embedded advanced dedicated features such as a finite state machine (FSM) for configurable motion tracking and a machine learning kernel (MLC) for context-awareness to enable edge computing processes and provide output-ready AI capabilities for IoT applications.

The LSM6DSV16XTR supports the Adaptive Self-Configuration (ASC) feature, which allows the FSM to automatically reconfigure the device in real-time based on specific motion patterns detected or based on the output of a specific decision tree configured in the MLC, without any intervention from the main processor.

The LSM6DSV16XTR embeds Qvar (Charge Variation Detection) for user interface functions such as Tap, Double Tap, Triple Tap, Long Press or L/R - R/L Swipe.

The LSM6DSV16XTR has a built-in analogue hub capable of connecting external analogue inputs and converting them to digital signals for processing.
