The MAX17853ACB is a flexible data acquisition system for high and low voltage battery module management. The system can measure a combination of 14 battery voltages and 6 temperature or system voltage measurements in 263µs with a fully redundant measurement engine, or perform all input measurements individually in 156µs with an ADC measurement engine.
The MAX17853ACB device has 14 internal balance switches rated greater than 300mA for battery current balancing, each of which supports comprehensive built-in diagnostics. Up to 32 devices can be Daisy chained together to manage 448 batteries and monitor 192 channels of temperature.
