The ADATE320KCPZ is a complete single-chip ATE solution for performing pin electronics functions for drivers, comparators and active load (DCL), four-quadrant single-pin parameter measurement units (PPMU). A dedicated 16-bit digital-to-analog converter (DAC) with integrated on-chip calibration registers provides all the DC levels required for device operation.

The driver offers three active modes: high, low, and termination modes, and high impedance suppression states. When the driver is not actively terminating the line, the suppressed state and integrated dynamic clamping facilitate significant attenuation of the transmission line reflection. Open drive capabilities range from − 1.5V to + 4.5V and support a wide range of standard automated test equipment (ATE) and instrumentation applications.

The ADATE320 is available in two versions: the standard version has a high-speed comparator output with an output swing of 250 mV. The ADATE320-1 has a 400 mV output swing.
