The IIS2ICLXTR 2-axis digital goniometer is a high-precision, low-power, 2-axis accelerometer with a digital output. The high accuracy, temperature stability and repeatability of the IS2ICLX make it suitable for tilt measurement applications.

The IIS2ICLX is available with ±0.5/±1/±2/±3g full scale options and is capable of performing measured acceleration for applications via an I²C or SPI digital interface. The sensing element is manufactured by special micro-machining technology. It was developed by STMicroelectronics for the production of inertial sensors and actuators on silicon wafers. The IC interface is manufactured by CMOS technology, which can achieve high integration. This allows the design of the tailored dedicated circuit to match the characteristics of the sensing element.
