The MAX31331EWC ultra-low-power real-time clock (RTC) is a timer device with a nominal timing current consumption of 65 nA for extended battery life. The device can use any capacitive load (CL) size crystal and a wide range of crystals are available. The device is accessed via an I2C serial interface.
The MAX31331EWC is available in a lead-free (Pb)/RoHS-compliant 12-pin, 0.4mm pitch 1.66mm x 1.26mm WLP package and a 10-pin 3mm x 3mm TDFN package.
The device supports an extended temperature range of -40°C to +85°C.
