The RTL8126-VB-CG Ethernet Controller integrates a five-speed IEEE 802.3-compliant network controller with a five-speed Ethernet transceiver, PCI Express bus controller and embedded memory.

Utilising state-of-the-art DSP technology and mixed-mode signalling, the RTL8126-VB-CG enables high-speed transmission over CAT 5e unshielded twisted pair (UTP) cable.

The RTL8126-VB-CG implements a variety of features such as cross-wire detection and auto-correction, polarity correction, adaptive equalisation, crosstalk cancellation, echo cancellation, timing restoration, and error correction to provide powerful capabilities in high-speed transmission and reception.

The RTL8126-VB-CG supports the ‘Real WOW’/WOL function, which allows computer equipment to maintain low power consumption during standby.

The RTL8126-VB-CG is suitable for a wide range of applications such as desktops, notebooks, workstations, servers, communication platforms and embedded applications.
