The Microchip LAN9500AI-ABZJ high-speed USB 2.0 to 10/100 Ethernet controller offers a high-performance, cost-competitive USB-to-Ethernet connectivity solution, integrating a 10/100 Ethernet PHY, high-speed USB 2.0 PHY, high-speed USB 2.0 controller, 10/100 Ethernet MAC, TAP controller, EEPROM controller, and FIFO controller, all packaged in a compact 56-pin QFN package. 

The LAN9500AI-ABZJ supports ±8kV HBM and ±15kV air discharge electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection, requiring only a single 25MHz crystal oscillator, helping to minimise the bill of materials (BOM) cost for external components. External MII and Turbo MII interfaces support Fast Ethernet, HomePlug®, and HomePNA™ (HPNA) functionality.
