RTL8201F-VB-CG is a single-port 10/100Mbps Ethernet physical layer transceiver (PHY) in a QFN-32 package, supporting MII (Media Independent Interface) and RMII (Reduced Media Independent Interface), widely used in computers, network equipment, industrial control, smart home, and other fields.

Compliant with IEEE 802.3u (100BASE-TX) and IEEE 802.3 (10BASE-T) standards, supporting 10/100Mbps auto-negotiation.

Supports full-duplex/half-duplex modes, enabling bidirectional communication.

Utilises low-power CMOS process technology and supports IEEE 802.3az (EEE, Energy Efficient Ethernet), significantly reducing standby power consumption.

Dual power supply of 1.1V (internal voltage regulator) and 3.3V, optimising energy efficiency.  

Auto-negotiation: automatically matches the optimal speed and duplex mode of connected devices.  

Auto MDIX (automatic cable crossover detection): no crossover cable required, direct connection enables communication.  

LAN wake-up (WOL): supports remote wake-up functionality.  

Advanced noise suppression technology enhances signal stability.

Baseline drift (BLW) compensation optimises long-distance transmission performance.  

Supports MII and RMII interfaces, compatible with multiple MAC controllers.  

Optional fibre optic PECL interface (requires external 100BASE-FX optical module).  

Provides two network status indicator lights (Link/Activity) for easy debugging.
