Product Description

The TPS62822DLCR is a versatile and easy to use synchronous step-down DC/DC converter with a very low quiescent current of only 4µA. The device has an input voltage of 2.4V to 5.5V and can deliver up to 3A of output current (TPS62823). The product is based on the DCS-Control™ topology for fast transient response.


With an internal reference, the output voltage can be regulated down to 0.6V with up to 1% feedback voltage accuracy over a junction temperature range of -40°C to 125°C. The 1A/2A/3A scalable pin-to-pin device family is BOM-to-BOM compatible and can be used in combination with small 470nH inductors.


The TPS62822DLCR automatically enters power saving mode at ultra light loads and maintains high efficiency.


The device features a power-on signal and internal soft-start circuitry. It is capable of operating in 100% mode. For fault protection, it incorporates intermittent current limiting and a thermal shutdown function.


The TPS62822DLCR is available in a 2 x 1.5mm QFN-8 package.
