The ADMV1010AEZ is a compact microwave monolithic integrated circuit (MMIC) single-sideband (SSB) downconverter in a gallium arsenide (GaAs) design in a RoHS-compliant package optimised for point-to-point microwave radio designs operating from 12.6 GHz to 15.4 GHz.

The ADMV1010AEZ has a conversion gain of 15 dB and a mirror rejection of 25 dB. The ADMV1010 uses a radio-frequency (RF) low-noise amplifier (LNA) followed by an in-phase/in-quadrature (I/Q) double-balanced mixer, with a drive amplifier driving the local oscillator (LO). IF1 and IF2 mixer outputs are provided and require the use of an external 90° mixing mode to select the desired sidebands. the I/Q mixer topology reduces the need for filtering unnecessary sidebands. the ADMV1010 is an alternative to hybrid SSB downconverter assemblies but with a much smaller form factor, it can be used in surface-mounted fabrication of assemblies, eliminating the need for lead bonding. the ADMV1010AEZ is an alternative to hybrid SSB downconverter assemblies but with a much smaller form factor.

The ADMV1010AEZ downconverter is available in a thermally enhanced, compact 4.9 mm × 4.9 mm 32-terminal LCC package.The ADMV1010AEZ operates over a temperature range of -40°C to +85°C. The ADMV1010AEZ is also available in a thermal-enhanced, compact 4.9 mm × 4.9 mm 32-terminal LCC package.
