The ADF4372BCCZ device, when used in combination with an external loop filter and an external reference frequency, enables a fractional N division or integer N division phase locked loop (PLL) frequency synthesizer. Wideband microwave voltage controlled oscillators (VCO) are designed to generate frequencies from 62.5 MHz to 16 GHz. The ADF4372 has an integrated VCO with a base output frequency range of 4000 MHz to 8000 MHz.
