The 8T49N287A-040NLGI is a FemtoClock® NG eight-channel frequency converter with two fractional feedback PLLS, which can be used as a jitter attenuator and frequency converter. With a six-integer and two-decimal output divider, this frequency converter can generate up to eight different output frequencies (8kHz to 1GHz). Eight different outputs can be selected among LVPECL, LVCMOS, LVDS or HCSL output levels. The following are the key features:
Supports SDH/SONET and synchronous Ethernet clocks, including all FEC rate conversions
Jitter: <0.3ps RMS (typical value, including spurious, 12kHz to 20MHz)
Lock to input signal, hold and freely run working modes
The initial hold accuracy is +50ppb
Up to two LVPECL, LVDS, LVHSTL, HCSL or LVCMOS input clocks are accepted:
The accepted frequency range is from 8kHz to 875MHz
Automatic and manual input clock selection, uninterrupted switching
Clock input monitoring, including support for intermittent clock speeds
The phase slope limit and the completely uninterrupted switching option can control the output clock phase transients
It operates with a basic mode crystal ranging from 10MHz to 40MHz
Generate 8 LVPECL/LVDS/HCSL or 16 LVCMOS output clocks:

The 8T49N287A-040NLGI frequency converter supports uninterrupted reference switching between input clocks. These frequency converters can monitor the signal loss (LOS) of all input clocks and issue an alarm when an input clock failure is detected. Typical applications include 1G, 10G, 40G and 100G synchronous Ethernet, SONET/SDH, baseband of wireless base stations, data communication and OTN decommapping.
