The 8A34042E-000NLG is a multi-channel digital PLL/ digital control oscillator (DPLL/DCO) launched by Renesas, providing tools for managing timing references, clock conversions, and timing paths for common communication protocols such as Synchronous Ethernet (SyncE), Optical Transport Network (OTN), and Common Radio Interface (CPRI). The 8A34042E-000NLG can be used for communication ports on synchronous line cards or sub-cards, which are connected to the synchronous source through the backplane or other media. The numerical control oscillator (dco) can be controlled by the OTN clock recovery servo software running on an external processor.
