The 190mOhm IPBE65R145CFD7AATMA1 in the D2PAK 7-pin package is a member of the automotive-grade certified 650V CoolMOS™ SJ power MOSFET CFD7A family. Compared to its predecessor, the CoolMOS™ CFD7A offers higher reliability and power density, while enhancing design flexibility. Customers benefit from better efficiency and thermal performance when using Infineon's 650 V CoolMOS™ CFD7A technology in combination with the D2PAK 7-pin package. the Kelvin source concept used in the D2PAK 7-pin (driver-source pin) overcomes the limitations caused by source inductance and improves switching performance. Therefore, the system level (especially at high currents) benefits from reduced switching losses and heat. In addition, the 4.2mm increase in creepage distance between drain and source/gate facilitates the use of devices at battery voltage levels up to 475V.
