The MAX25432BATLP/V combines an automotive-grade buck-boost controller, USB powered (USB PD) analog front end (AFE), traditional USB charging support, and USB TypeC ® protection switch for automotive USB host or downstream oriented (DFP) applications. The step-up controller provides a full range of 3.3V to 21V programmable power supplies (PPS) at currents up to 6.35A. The USB Type-C protection switch provides automotive system-level ESD protection and 24V short circuit protection for D+, D-, CC1, CC2 and VCONN.
