The TPS65982BBZBHR device provides a USB bulletin board endpoint for USB-PD devices that implement alternate mode. The integrated internal USB multiplexer allows the TPS65982BB to support up to two USB Type-C ports. The TPS65982BB uses an I2C interface to communicate with the USB-PD port controller to enable billboards and update stored billboard strings. The integrated 5 V load switch provides VBUS protection for optional USB Type-A ports.
