Device Description:

The TMS320C6655CZHA25 is the highest-performance fixed-fixed/floating-point DSP, featuring the new and innovative C66x DSP core, which is capable of running at frequencies up to 1.25 GHz. The C6655 DSP integrates a large amount of on-chip memory. In addition to 32KB of L1 programme and data cache, each core has 1024KB of dedicated memory that can be configured as RAM or cache. The device also integrates 1024KB of shared multi-core memory, which can be used as shared L2 SRAM and/or shared L3 SRAM, all of which include error detection and correction. For fast access to external memory, the device includes a 32-bit DDR-3 External Memory Interface (EMIF) running at 1333 MHz and supports ECC DRAM.
