The Qorvo QPA1022 11GHz 4W Gallium nitride (GaN) power amplifier supports the tight lattice spacing requirements of phased array radar applications. The device has a saturated output power of >4W and a large signal gain of 24.5dB, while achieving a power addition efficiency of >45%. The QPA1022 is matched with 50Ω and integrates isolated DC containers at the RF output and DC ground input ports. The device also has a built-in power detector for system RF power checks.
