The LTC4421CG Prioritized PowerPath™ controller is designed to drive an external n-channel MOSFET, connecting one of two input power supplies to a common output, based on user-defined priority and effectiveness. By definition, the power supply connected to V1 is a higher priority power supply, but can be changed dynamically. External resistance divider sets the undervoltage threshold and overvoltage threshold for the effective voltage window that pops up.
