The MAX33251EELC isolated 2Tx/2Rx RS-232 transceiver is used in diagnostic equipment, point-of-sale systems, industrial/GPS/medical equipment and communication systems. The isolated RS-232 transceiver has an integrated charge pump and inverter, eliminating the need for high positive and negative voltage sources. The transceivers have 600 VRMS of current isolation between the logic UART side and the field side.
