The TPS54040ADGQR device is a 42V, 0.5A, step-down regulator with an integrated high-side MOSFET. Current mode control provides simple external compensation and component selection flexibility. A low ripple pulse hopping mode reduces the unloaded, regulated input supply current to 116µA. By using the enable pin, the shutdown supply current drops to a nominal value of 1.3µA when it is low.
