The TDA38640-0000 OptiMOS™ IPOL is an easy-to-use, fully integrated, high efficiency 40A synchronous buck regulator with Intel SVID and I2C interfaces. It can be used in Intel VR12, VR 12.5, VR13, VR14, IMPVP8 designs and DDR memories without major bill of materials (BOM) changes. Select the desired mode in the MTP and automatically configure pin-outs, VID tables and other related features. This greatly reduces time to market and eliminates the need to manage and stock different PWM controllers.
