The ICE5QR4780BG is the 5th generation of the quasi-resonant CoolSET™ in a PG-DSO-12 package with an integrated 800V CoolMOS™ superjunction MOSFETs. The product is optimized for off-line switching power supplies in a common source, common grid configuration. It comes in a single package with two independent chips, one is a controller chip and the other is a high-voltage MOSFET chip. With a proprietary new quasi-resonant operation, the IC enables lower EMI and higher efficiency while improving digital frequency reduction.
