The MAX20334EWC dual SPDT data line switches with overvoltage and surge protection are powered from a 2.7V to 5.5V supply and are designed to multiplex USB 2.0 high-speed signals and a variety of analogue signals. The switches combine the low on-state capacitance (CON) and low on-resistance (RON) required for high-performance switching applications and can withstand overvoltage events. A shorted data line event in the high voltage VBUS could result in false detection by the charger in a high voltage charging solution or permanent damage to the portable device.
