The MAX20340EWL is a general-purpose bi-directional DC power line communications (PLC) management IC with a 166.7kbps transfer rate. The device has a maximum charging current of 1.2A. A slave detection circuit is provided to signal an interrupt to the system when the PLC master detects the presence of a PLC slave. This feature allows the system to maintain a low power state until a slave device is connected. Available in a 9-bump, 0.4 mm pitch, 1.358 mm x 1.358 mm wafer-level package (WLP).
