The MAX20070GTJ/V is a highly integrated power and LED backlight driver for automotive TFT-LCD applications. The device integrates a buck boost converter, a boost converter, two gate driver power supplies, and a boost /SEPIC converter that powers one or two strings of leds in the display backlight. The IC has a two-string LED driver that operates with a separate input voltage (VBATT) and can power up to two strings of leds, each with a current of 160mA (maximum).

Features:

• Reduce the number of components by integrating both the TFT power supply and the LED backlight driver in one IC

• Mitigate EMI due to the source driver power supply and spread spectrum on the LED driver

• 200Hz dimming frequency down light ratio of 10,000:1

• In a 32-pin (5mm x 5mm) TQFN package with exposed pads for heat dissipation, operating in an ambient temperature range of -40°C to +105°C
