The BTN8982TAAUMA1 is an integrated high current half-bridge for motor drive applications. It belongs to the Novalithic™ family and contains a P-channel high-side MOSFET and an N-channel low-side MOSFET as well as an integrated driver IC in a single package. The use of a P-channel high-side switch eliminates the need for a charge pump and minimizes EMI. The BTN8982TA provides a cost-optimized solution for protected high-current PWM motor drivers with very low board space consumption.
