The LT3048EDC-12 generates low noise, low ripple bias supplies over a 2.7V to 4.8V input voltage range. It includes a boost regulator and an LDO linear regulator. The boost regulator supplies power to the linear regulator. The output voltage of the boost regulator is regulated to 1.1V above the LDO output to optimise LDO ripple rejection and transient response. Fixed-frequency operation and current-mode control allow the use of very small inductors for low, predictable output ripple. The linear regulators in the LDOs produce programmable outputs.
